Why do young people's voices matter so much in marine policy?

We talk a lot about how to support young people to get involved in marine decision-making and how to make these processes more accessible for young people. We focus on the what and the how.

However it's important to sometimes take a step back to remember the WHY: Why are young people's voices SO important to marine policy and addressing the climate and biodiversity crises?
