We’re hiring!

Do you care about young people having a voice? Do you want to protect Scotland’s seas?
Here’s your chance to make it happen. We’re looking for a Youth Advocacy Officer to help young people speak up and influence real decisions about Scotland’s marine environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Helping young people become strong, confident voices for our seas

  • Opening doors for young advocates to meet policymakers and marine experts

  • Making sure youth voices are heard where decisions are made

What’s in it for you:

  • A 4-day work week (Mon–Thurs) so you can enjoy a better work-life balance

  • 22.5 days of paid holiday (pro rata), plus extra time off at Christmas

  • 5% employer pension contribution

  • Training allowance and support for equipment, including a laptop

  • Being part of a fun, committed team

We’re looking for someone who’s confident, proactive, and passionate about both youth empowerment and environmental justice. If you’ve got experience in policy advocacy or campaigning and enjoy working with others, this is your chance to make real change, both for Scotland’s marine environment and for the next generation.

Sound like you? Apply today and help us build a fairer, healthier future for our seas.
