By joining Young Sea Changers Scotland, you can make a real and lasting difference to Scotland’s seas while becoming part of an inclusive network of passionate, diverse, and ambitious young people.

Together, we’re working to shape a positive future for our ocean—one that benefits everyone.

We know that many young people feel deeply connected to the sea and bring unique perspectives, creativity, and energy to the table. We’re committed to making sure everyone feels welcome and empowered to have their voices heard where it matters most. That’s why we provide a range of opportunities —through events, our online Discord community, skill-building workshops, mentoring, and direct involvement in marine policy—so young people can connect, learn, collaborate, and take action to make a real difference.

When you join, you’ll become part of this community—a space designed just for young people in Scotland who care about the marine environment and want to create real change through advocacy and campaigning.

Our team is there to help you navigate the Discord platform and ensure the space stays safe, supportive, and fun. There’s no time commitment, so you can dip in and out whenever it suits you.
