Join the movement for our seas
If you’re aged between 16-25, and live in Scotland, we’d love you to join us!
Young Sea Changers Scotland is a community for young people who care about Scotland’s seas and want to have a say in what happens to them.
Whether you’re already involved in marine conservation or you’re just starting to get interested, there are lots of ways to get involved. You can join events, meet other young people through our Discord community, take part in workshops and mentoring, and get opportunities to contribute to discussions around marine policy.
It’s a chance to learn more about marine issues, build useful skills, share your ideas and work with other young people to help shape the future of our seas.
The benefits of joining include:
Build confidence in speaking up and sharing your views on different issues
Get involved in campaigns and projects around Scotland’s seas
Develop valuable skills in communication, organising, and influencing
Meet other young people with an interest in the marine environment
Join our Discord community to hear about the latest events and opportunities
Our team will help you get set up on Discord and make sure the community is a safe, supportive and welcoming space. There’s no set time commitment, so you can get involved as much or as little as works for you.
Are you ready to become an ocean advocate?
Fill out the form below and we’ll send you a link to join the community. Note that if you’re under 18, we’ll send a parental consent form first.
If you’re ready to take a more active role in policy advocacy, you can also join our Young Persons Policy Group to make your voice heard on the issues that you care about - just tick the relevant box when you sign up, and we’ll send you more details.
